Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

(b) On July 8, 2020, General Motors Company (“GM”) announced that Barry L. Engle II is stepping down from his position as GM’s Executive Vice President and President, North America, to pursue other opportunities, a decision that was made on July 6, 2020. Mr. Engle will remain with GM through August 31, 2020, in order to ensure a smooth transition.
